Kazakhstan isn’t the first country that springs to mind when you think of online poker, but try telling that to “3DTemukiN” who became a SCOOP champion last night. The Kazakhstan-based grinder topped a field of 1,203 entrants in the SCOOP-13-H: $530 NLHE 8-Max PKO, $400K Gtd to get their hands on $75,164 with bounties included.
3DTemujiN defeated “Succeeed” of Germany heads-up to lock up the title. The German won $59,494 when bounties payments were included.
The final table was also home to the likes of Brazilian Rafael “GM_VALTER” Moraes and third-place finisher Alex “lynskey99” Lynskey.

Glaser officially finished in second place, but not before striking a deal with fellow Brit “acespice” when the pair were heads-up. Glaser walked away with $81,530 for his runner-up finish, around $5,000 more than acespice who now gets to call themself a SCOOP champion.

SCOOP-15-M: $215 NLHE Sunday Million SE, $1M Gtd was the SCOOP edition of the Sunday Million and what a tournament it was. Almost 10,000 players turned out in force, resulting in a $1,987,000 prize pool shared among the top 1,421 finishers.
Everyone at the final table locked up at least $15,791 for their substantial effort, but it was the top three finishers who won the lion’s share of the prize pool.
There was a three-handed deal that split the remaining $589,057 prize money. Hungary’s “lildani9” finished in third for $180,700 which left “Andy005” of Canada and Slovakia’s “LuCasino777” to lock horns heads-up. Andy005 fell in second and won $219,010 with the champion winning $189,347.

Belarusian legend “Leqenden” won the SCOOP-15-H: $2,100 NLHE Sunday HR SE, $1M Gtd and saw almost $200,000 head to their PokerStars account. The $2,100 buy-in tournament saw some of the best players in the business buy in, as you’d expect from such a prestigious event.
Ismael “Isidinho” Bojang fell in ninth-place before UK’s Leon “flippetyflop” Louis busted in eighth. Man of the moment, UK-based Dutchman Jorryt “TheCleaner11” van Hoof busted in sixth for $45,328.
The top three finishers each won more than $100,000. “serggorelyi7” of Russia finished third for $109,325 with “chicalltreta” of Brazil falling at the final hurdle and banking $146,630. Leqenden reeled in $196,648 after yet another victory.

Ole “wizowizo” Schemion is better-known for his No-Limit Hold’em prowess, but it turns out he’s no slouch in the PLO arena either judging by his impressive victory in the SCOOP-16-H: $2,100 PLO 6-Max, $400K Gtd event.
Schemion found himself heads-up against Hungarian star Laszlo “omaha4rollz” Bujtas, a battle he emerged victorious from. Schemion scooped the $111,853 top prize, with Bujtas collecting $82,910.
Earlier at the final table the likes of Max “goodeh” Silver (fifth for $33,765) and Bengt “pkrbt” Sonnert (fourth for $45.553) put up a good fight but ultimately fell short.

Andras “probirs” Nemeth was the final table’s first casualty. Rhyor “Grisha813” Karapanau, Rui “RuiF” Ferreira and Vicente “vicenfish” Delgado joined Nemeth on the sidelines. Delgado banked $97,942 for his fifth-place finish, the last five-figure prize of the tournament.
Canada’s “allin2bluff” won $126,411 for their fourth-place exit with Jorryt “TheCleaner11” van Hoof securing $163,156 for his third-place finish.
Heads-up pitted Fedor “CrownUpGuy” Holz against Martiroysan and it was the latter who emerged from the one-on-one fight unscathed. Holz walked away with the $210,580 second-place prize while the Russian netted a huge $271,790 and the title of champion.
